Virtual 7th International CytoSorb Users` Meeting

2020 was a year like no other. Since March 2020 conferences and events have rightfully been cancelled or postponed across the world, including our Annual International CytoSorb Users Meeting. So we challenged ourselves to come up with something that could to some extend replace the live event. To make it easy and safe for you to attend, we transitioned this year’s meeting to a hybrid event, broadcast live from the heart of Berlin, Germany.

More than 570 participants from 65 countries including physicians, partners and distributors virtually joined the meeting to receive first-hand insight into clinical experiences and to learn about latest scientific findings, recent study results and case series in different patient groups. The lectures in English were simultaneously translated to German and Spanish. Berlin based Cellist Anne Mueller musically accompanied the event. 

Following a welcome speech by Professor Jean-Louis Vincent from Brussels, Belgium, an excellent panel of 20 speakers from 10 countries presented the most recent data and findings on the following topics:

• New data and latest findings
• CytoSorb-Therapy in daily routine
• CytoSorb-Therapy in COVID-19 patients
• It is all about individualized medicine – various specific case reports
