Monocenter studies

Numerous renowned German and international clinics are currently conducting scientific studies on the efficacy and clinical effects of CytoSorb use in a wide range of hyperinflammatory conditions.

Research includes, for e.g. the use of CytoSorb in high risk cardiac surgery patients on cardiopulmonary bypass or in patients in refractory septic shock. Several studies in other clinical conditions where CytoSorb therapy could be beneficial, such as burns or liver failure are in the pipeline or already underway. There are many investigator-initiated trials in progress, some of which are already actively recruiting and others which are already completed (see CytoSorb Literature Database for more details). The remaining studies are at different stages of preparation and implementation.

Some of these projects are currently nearing completion or have already been completed, therefore we expect to continue to see a significant increase in published evidence on the effectiveness and clinical outcomes of CytoSorb therapy.
